Did You Know?
Our units are standard, steel shipping containers left outside and exposed to the elements. The containers are watertight, it’s more about the condensation from the contents within the container itself. It is surprising how wooden floorboards, bedding, even washing machines and cardboard contain some moisture at some degree. The warming of the container causes this moisture to be released into the air. To easily combat this, you should always use dampstick control poles which can be bought cheaply and last 3-6 months. Of course, try to avoid storing any damp items. Another cost effective trick is to stick bubble wrap over the walls and ceiling of the container.
